We will have extended hours this week end, Saturday 10 - 6 and open on Sunday 12 - 6. As always, can't wait to see ya!
Just had to show you this sweet little cookie jar and the vintage mirrors that came off of a vanity. The vanity is now on my back porch as a potting table! I love it!

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!!
Cozee's Little Cottage has been open since April 12th and it's true - time flies! We're open Monday through Saturday, 10 - 5. And we are super busy everyday! Whether it's cleaning, re-arranging, selling or bringing in new inventory, one thing is for sure - WE STAY BUSY!
The part we enjoy most is making new friends, they are most assuredly valued treasures! Personally, I really enjoy learning new things about my hometown's history...Waxahachie is full of stories.
So, next time you're in town, stop by and see us! We can't wait to meet you!

COZEE'S LITTLE COTTAGE - OPENING DAY!
We are super excited! Finally have the shop pulled together. Gloria has been working hard on her "Vintage White" room. She specializes in vintage linens, lampshades, dolls, ribbons, lace and much more!
We have something for everyone - even the Petroliana collectors! In the shop we have an antique 55 gallon galvanized barrel from the Standard Oil Company in El Segundo California (now the Chevron Oil Company)- the last patent reads 1914. Is in excellent condition! Check it out at 301A No College Street, Waxahachie TX!

Fun Weekend and Garden Chairs!
Started off the week end Friday night by attending the Vintage Market hosted by Petticoats on the Prairie at the Chataqua with Laura, Brooke and Gloria...after three times around Brooke was wondering how many times I could look at the same thing! There were over 30 vendors and a sweet little vintage Shastas and Forresters! Tiny little campers, Gloria and I want a pink one to travel around in when we go junkin'! (The only down fall is no pot - not sure how I would pull that off) LOL
Saturday Bill and I took a trip to Shreveport to eat dinner at Ernest's (awesome marinated crab claws) so, I twisted his arm to take me junkin' on the way! Found some great buys to up-cycle and add to someone's garden! It was beautiful in East Texas, everything was so green and the bluebonnets were in full bloom! Really puts me in the gardening mood.
Topped the week end off with Laura. We made a quick run to Michael's and Joann's. I have to run in and run out...or else I can spend way too many dollars.
So here is a before and after pic of one of the garden chairs I painted mint green and covered the seat in burlap to place your lovely plant. It is currently located at Cozee's in the Old Town Village Antique Mall.
Until next time have a great week and love each day like it's your last...you never know what tomorrow holds. ~Judy
FYI - The plant shown came from a Wondering Jew that belonged to my grandmother over 20 years ago, I carried a piece of it home on an airplane from Missouri two years ago. I love it! Thanks Uncle Larry!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR!
I love this time of year...the yard fresh from a good soaking rain...the birds singing like crazy! Puts me in the mood for a little (emphasis on little) spring cleaning and patio projects! Not to mention, today was a good day for me physically! Yay!
So, I worked on a couple of bird nest projects, pictures tomorrow and this sweet patio bench! Updated it with moss green paint and a strip of burlap. Polyeurothene is a must if it's used to pretty up a porch! Although, I think it would look great anywhere...I love the use of chairs, benches or anything that can hold up a plant!
Old Town Village Antiques highlighted two of my garden chairs currently in my booth on their fb page last week - SWEET - I appreciate the publicity!
Lot's to do this week, book work for the shop, play time with my little lovelies (Parker & Blaine) and a quick trip to Shreveport next week end - hoping to hit a few estate sales on the way! Hope you all have a great week!
